Aquatic Center
The Grain Valley Aquatic Center is open to all residents and non-residents to enjoy. It features a zero-depth entrance, tot slide, 12’ floating python, diving board, and slides. Concession stand, shaded concession tables, and lounge areas are also available to keep you and your family refreshed on those hot summer days.
Annual Schedule & Open Swim Hours
The Aquatic Center will open on Memorial Day Weekend:
Saturday, May 25, 2024
Open Swim Hours:
Monday – Sunday: Noon – 6 p.m.
Hours are subject to change when the Grain Valley School District goes back into session in mid-August.
Last swim of the year is Labor Day:
Monday, September 2, 2024 (Hours: Noon – 4 p.m.)
Rules/Regulations
- Children under the age of 10 years old and all youth non-swimmers must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- Only US Coast Guard approved life jackets are allowed at the Aquatic Center. Life jackets are available for use on-site at no cost.
- No floats, rafts, noodles, water cannons, or water toys of any kind are permitted within the facility.
- No outside food and beverages are permitted within the facility. Bottled water is allowed. Concessions are available.
- No glass containers allowed.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited.
- The Aquatic Center may alter the hours or cancel/close “Open Swim” based on the following:
- Inclement weather
- Cool air temperature
- Cool water temperature
- Mechanical or pool chemistry issues
- Low attendance
