Downtown Spooktacular: Halloween Event 2023
Beneath the enchanting glow of the full moon, Downtown Spooktacular will come alive!
Join us for the 2nd Annual Downtown Spooktacular.
This Halloween, the heart of the city transforms into a magical realm of fright and delight! Don't miss the Downtown Spooktacular with Halloween Fireworks – an epic celebration under the full moon. Witches, ghouls and other Halloween critters are invited to join us for candy collecting, photo opportunities, and more! Downtown Spooktacular will commence with a Witches and Wizards walk, beginning in Armstrong Park and ending at the Halloween stage in downtown Grain Valley. Following the walk, festivities will be ready and waiting for residents in the downtown district.
Businesses & Organizations: Want to be a part of Downtown Spooktacular? Register here to hand out candy or enter the window decorating contest and jack-o'-lantern contest!
Witches & Wizards Walk: All are invited to participate in our kickoff event for the evening, at no cost. Join us as we lead a march of costumed characters to the Halloween Stage. Register here!

Parking Information:
Attendees are encouraged to park and walk to the event whenever possible. The following locations have been identified as public parking areas during event times:
City Hall/Community Center Parking Lot: 711 Main Street
Old Towne Marketplace Parking Lot: Southwest Corner of Main and Eagles Parkway
Valley Speedway: 348 E Old Hwy 40 (complimentary shuttle service)
Restroom Information:
Portable toilets will be placed throughout the event. There are also public restrooms located a short walk away in Armstrong Park.
