The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department’s goal is “to supply professional, ethical, and responsive law enforcement to all citizens, businesses, and guests of Jackson County.”  Also, in the event of non- emergency police matters that do not occur between 8:00 am-5:00 pm, M-F, they serve as dispatch for Grain Valley residents by calling 816-795-1960.  Visit for more information.
