Capital Improvement Plan Approved by Board of Aldermen
The Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) is designed to outline plans for large scale capital improvements and major purchases by the City of Grain Valley. It is a flexible plan that can be altered as conditions, funding, priorities and regulations change. The CIP is a document used to inform citizens, residents and property owners of how the City plans to address significant needs from equipment to infrastructure. The CIP includes a description for each project outlined as well as why it is necessary and projected costs involved. Some of the projects included in the plans for 2022-2026 are:
- Road improvement asphalt overlay program and other street improvements
- Sewer main replacements
- Water line extension
- Park improvements including continuation of the trail master plan (trail improvements/additions) and new park equipment at Armstrong Park
- Addition of a new water tower
Questions about the CIP can be directed to our Community Development Department, 816-847-6220 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
