Youth Baseball/Softball League Pricing & Additional Information

Grain Valley Parks & Recreation has reduced the registration fees compared to previous seasons to play youth baseball and softball here in Grain Valley.  We will continue to provide quality baseball and softball programs but at an affordable price.  Below shows a comparison of the registration fees charged between last year's spring season and this year's upcoming spring season.  Also below is additional information about what your registration fee goes towards to help offset league expenses.

Division 2014 Youth Baseball/Softball Registration Fees 2015 Youth Baseball/Softball Registration Fees
T-ball $90.00 $65.00
Machine Pitch / Coach Pitch $90.00 $75.00
10U Baseball/Softball $110.00 $85.00
12U Baseball/Softball $120.00 $95.00
14U Baseball/Softball $130.00

$105.00

  • A uniform top and hat/visor are included with the registration fee.  These items will be of the same high quality as this past season.  Uniform top will be Dri-Fit.  Hat/Visor will be embroidered.
  • Pants, socks and any other apparel will be the responsibility of the parent to purchase when the coach submits the team uniform order.
  • Quality pants and socks generally cost $12-$15.  We have reduced our registration fee anywhere from $15 to $25 across all divisions so families are still saving money.
  • Also, kids can often still fit into and wear the pants and socks that they had from the previous season or a younger brother/sister can now fit into these items from an older sibling.  By not charging families for pants, socks and belts through the registration fee, parents have the option to either purchase these items new or utilize these items from a previous season whereby saving families money.
  • This also provides for more flexibility should a team decide to upgrade their pants or socks.
  • Sibling Discount:  Historically, there has been no Sibling Discount to play baseball or softball.  We understand the financial strain of having multiple children participate in youth sports.  To help ease that financial strain, we are implementing a Sibling Discount this year.  The first sibling registered pays full price.  Each additional sibling registered will receive $10.00 off the regular registration fee.
  • Your registration fee also covers costs like umpiring fees, league equipment, field-use expenses (materials, labor, utilities), website administrative fees, coach background screenings, and end of the season awards.
