Grain Valley Standard Details
The City adopted, in January of 2005, a set of
standard details for the construction of infrastructure within the City
Limits. In addition, the City at the same time also adopted APWA’s
standards as a supplement to the City’s own standards. The City is
particularly interested in using the new Section 5600 of the APWA
Guidance in some fashion in all future projects and will attempt to
allow creativity and flexibility in the storm water design of these
projects, so that the City is doing everything it can to improve and
maintain water quality in its bodies of water.
The Grain Valley Standard Detail Books can be picked up at
the Grain
Valley City Hall lower level. The cost is $15.00 for a booklet or $50.00 for an
electronic version on CD.
