Letters for Adoption:

Notarized letters are available from the Police Department for Adoptions.  Please visit us during regular business hours to complete the required background check. 

 

Background Checks:

Background Checks are completed at the local city level only.  The Grain Valley Police Department has only municipal charges on file.  If your employer or other agency need a complete criminal history contact the Missouri State Highway Patrol located in Lee's Summit on Hwy 50 and Hwy 291.  The MSHP phone number is 816-622-0800.
