Armstrong Park
This 10-acre park is located in the heart of Grain Valley and is loaded with amenities for the entire family.  The park currently boasts four picnic shelters with BBQ grills, picnic tables, a gazebo, restrooms, two large playgrounds with swings, a skate park, an asphalt walking trail, and two lighted baseball fields.  Picnic Shelters and the baseball fields are available to reserve by calling 816-847-6230.

Twice the size of our picnic shelters.  Great for large gatherings and special events.  Three elevated stages, electrical hook-ups and private restrooms.  To reserve, call 816-847-6230.

Cross Creek Nature Park
This is a 36-acre, undeveloped park.  There are open green areas, and a half-mile walking trail along Blue Branch Creek. This green space is perfect for flying kites, playing catch, or going for a nature hike.

Monkey Mountain Sports Complex
This sports complex features four lighted baseball fields, a multipurpose field, a picnic shelter with BBQ grills and picnic tables and two playgrounds for families to enjoy.  To reserve an athletic field, call 816-847-6230.

The Football Complex
This complex has two multi-purpose fields for football or soccer and one picnic shelter with a BBQ grill and picnic tables.

Neighborhood Pocket Parks
Grain Valley has four neighborhood pocket parks; Clover Park, Eagle Park, Kirby Park, and Farmington Meadows Park.  Clover and Eagle parks are small in stature and located right in the middle of neighborhoods.  Each (except Kirby) have a small play structure and and are perfect for a picnic.  Farmington Meadows 5-acre lake is a great place to get in some fishing!

Tennis Courts
There are four (4) lighted tennis courts located in front of Grain Valley High School, on SW Eagles Parkway.  These courts were built in 2000 through a cooperative venture between the City of Grain Valley and the Grain Valley School District.  The tennis courts are open to the public anytime except for practices and matches during the High School tennis season in the spring and fall.

Parks Rental Rates

Shelter Rates:
$25.00 Per Time Block
(9a.m. - 2:30p.m.) or (3p.m. - 8:30p.m.)

Ball Fields Rates:
$15.00 Per hour

$75.00 Per day
$20.00 Set-up fee (drag, chalk, bases)
$15.00 Per hour for use of lights

(Fee due 2 weeks before event date)

Pavilion Rate:
$35.00 Per hour
(Fee due 2 weeks before event date)

$50.00 security/cleaning deposit
* Deposit due when space is reserved.
* All banners & decorations need to be removed once event has concluded.
* All trash cans need to be emptied and trash taken to the dumpsters loc
