Alderman Ward I – Chris Bamman

Chris Bamman and his family have lived in Grain Valley for nearly 15 years, where he has raised 3 children – all of whom have graduated from Grain Valley High School. His commitment to maintaining the highest standards of education for the children of this community is still a priority as he serves on the Grain Valley Board of Education, including serving in the capacity as several officer positions.  Currently, he is the Board President.  He has served on the Board of Education since 2008.  Chris was sworn in as an Alderman in April of 2017.


Outside of his service to this community, Chris works for Noresco – a company which specializes in delivering energy savings alternatives that address deferred maintenance and infrastructure issues for building owners and managers.


Chris and his wife, Christy, have been married for 27 years. They attend church at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church in Blue Springs where he serves as a member of the Knights of Columbus and on the St. Joseph’s Table Committee.


Chris’ hobbies include family activities and fitness and strength conditioning. He especially enjoys outdoor activities such as motorcycling, fishing and hunting.
