Construction Board of Appeals
The Construction Code Board of Appeals is mandated
through the building code. Building code and local ordinance controls
the appointment of members and powers the Board. Contractors and
builders can appeal decisions by the Building Official on construction
code interpretation. This Board recommends approval or disapproval
of all construction code amendments, changes, or new code approval.
Members are appointed and approved by the Mayor and Board of Aldermen.
