2006 Water Quality Report                                    


To the Citizens of Grain Valley,

As required by the Safe Water Act and as a service to our customers, the City of Grain valley is pleased to provide you with the following important information about your drinking water.  These efforts and our commitment will continue to ensure you are provided with safe drinking water.

The City of Grain Valley supplies quality drinking water to more than 4,600 customers, 48% of our water supply comes from the City of Independence and 52% of our water supply comes from Tri-County Water Authority.  For more information about these water supplies, you may contact the City of Independence at 816-325-7930, or Tri-County Water Authority at 816-796-4100.

The Public Works Department is proud to announce that drinking water consistently meets and surpasses all state and federal drinking water regulations.  The 2006 Water Quality Report is available on the web site at www.cityofgrainvalley.org under City News.  You may also obtain a hard copy of the report at City Hall.
