§         Request for the Final Plat approval of Tyer Rd Pumping Station Plat a municipal use.

Greg Ford, Director of Community Development stated that this plat is located north of West Jefferson on Tyer Road.  It is a part of the multi-million dollar water improvement project that the City of Grain Valley is doing with Tri-County Water.  The site will contain, the City water tower, to new ground storage tanks, and pumping facilities.  This Preliminary and Final plat meets all Zoning regulations.  Staff recommends approval.

 

§         Request for the Final Plat approval of GKSW Business Park Plat a commercial plat.

Greg Ford, Director of Community Development stated that this plat is located wast of Buckner-Tarsney road and south of Old 40 highway.  This plat contains three – (3) lots.  Lot 2 has already been re-zoned and obtained a Conditional Use Permit for “Convenience Storage Complex”.  The other two – (2) lots are at this time zoned Agriculture.  Developer is aware that due to the City’s infrastructure status the City may not be able to provide water service.  Staff recommends approval.

 

 

 

 

§         Request for the Final Plat approval of Greystone Plaza Plat a commercial plat.

Greg Ford, Director of Community Development stated that this plat is located east of Buckner-Tarsney road and north of Breezeway Industrial park.  The preliminary plat was under the name Bennett Commercial.  This plat contains five commercial tracts with road frontage.  Staff recommends approval.

 

§         Request for the Final Plat approval of Hight Industrial Park Plat a light industrial plat.

Greg Ford, Director of Community Development stated that this plat is located east of Armstrong and south of James Rollo Drive.  This plat contains two – (2) lots.  Lot #1 is Hight Automotive and #2 is the old City Civic Center.  This Final plat meets all Zoning regulations and staff recommends approval.

 

§         Request for the re-zoning of properties from A Agriculture to R-1 Single-family Residential for Greystone Estates.

Greg Ford, Director of Community Development stated that this area has recently been annexed and is located north of the Breezeway Park, and east of Buckner-Tarsney road. This area is the Greystone Estates Plat a single-family subdivision.  The property owner desires to re-zone this property so that it may be developed into a family subdivision.  Staff recommends approval.

 

§         Request for the re-zoning of properties from A Agriculture to R-1 Single-family Residential for Sni-A Bar Crossings 3rdPlat.

Greg Ford, Director of Community Development stated that this is a required step in the development of a new subdivision.  This plat is located north of Sni-A-Bar Blvd. and west of Buckner-Tarsney road.  This plat contains 12 single-family lots on this plat.  This is an extension of the original Sni-A-Bar Crossing plat.  There is a mixture of lot sizes from 15,000 square feet and up.  Staff recommends approval.

§         Request for an approval of a zoning change from C-3 Highway Commercial to R-3 Multi-Family for David Ward. Refer to last months Coversheet.
