Report of
Officers – Greg Ford went over the
lawsuit for the Washam development north of town he explained it went in the
residents favor. Greg also invited the Chairman and Vice Chairman to attend the
MML conference in September, the city will pay for expenses.

Request for Final Plat approval of Ryan Estates Subdivision, a
single-family home subdivision.
Greg Ford, Director of Community Development, stated
Mr. Schmidt the developer is present, Greg explained they will be using some
design alternatives in this project such as open swells, escrow account for ½
road improvements, the city will improve Ryan Rd. Commissioner D. Milum asked
if there would be any other deviations with this plat. Greg stated there is
not. Mr. Schmidt explained the restrictions; these homes will be a step above
the current patio homes, they will not be starter homes. No other discussion.
Nilesh closed the Public Hearing on this.

plat, a single-family subdivision.
No representative was present.

Business
Subdivision Compatibility- Greg went over some of
the suggestions that staff had come up with. There was discussion on lot sizes
and square footage requirements need to determine what the goal is. The
commission asked Greg Ford to come back with a clear-cut ordinance for the next
P-Z meeting. Motion to approve by S. Shatto, second by D. Milum. Motion
carried 7-0, being polled as; N. Patel – aye; M. Stahl – aye; S. Shatto – aye;

Request for a Preliminary approval of Estates of Sni-A-Bar Farms
Subdivision, a single-family subdivision. Greg stated this is Mr. Barnhardts
development and it is located off Graystone. They are making these large lots
the cost will be from $40 to $45 thousand a lot, the back 30 ft of the lot will
not be excavated they will leave the trees. D. Milum asked about access to
Minter Rd. Greg stated if the plan meets the site plan that is what the city
will require. The developer stated they are not asking for financial help on
the street improvements.
